| 3Dconnexion Announces SpacePilot Upgrade Program Customers Qualify for 30 Percent Savings on Purchase of New SpacePilot 3D Motion Controller
LOS GATOS, California – September 13, 2005 – 3Dconnexion, a Logitech (SWX:LOGN) (NASDAQ:LOGI) company, today announced that for a limited time (September 13, 2005 through November 15, 2005), current users of the company's award-winning motion control devices are eligible for an upgrade to the 3Dconnexion ® SpacePilot™ Intelligent Motion Controller at a special price. The SpacePilot currently supports more than 100 design and analysis applications and is available immediately through 3Dconnexion's worldwide resellers and distributors. Current customers in the U.S. and Canada who upgrade their SpaceBall, SpaceMouse, SpaceMouse Plus, SpaceTraveler or CadMan product to the SpacePilot are eligible for a rebate of U.S. $150.00. This is a savings of 30 percent off the standard price of U.S. $499.00. Upgrading to the SpacePilot provides existing users with significant ergonomic and productivity benefits. Using the SpacePilot controller's adaptive sensing technology, users execute their most common design and creation commands with a single click on the SpacePilot controller's many intelligent speed keys. This program pricing is valid in the U.S. and Canada only, although 3Dconnexion worldwide offices are offering localized upgrade programs as well.
