One-touch access to Mapkeys: Set SpacePilot LCD keys to store Pro/ENGINEER Mapkeys for quick command access while navigating. Newly programmed functions are instantly displayed in the LCD. Unlimited sets of functions for Sketch, Part Modeling, Assembly or any other environment are available using multiple banks of mappings.

Streamline all work modes from Sketch through Assembly:

  • Sketch Mode: Use the mouse to sketch and simultaneously use SpacePilot in the other hand to optimally position and reposition the work plane. Inspect your sketch from multiple positions. Access commands like Sketch Orientation, Continue/Quit with a single click of the programmable keys.
  • Part Modeling Mode: Use the SpacePilot to view the model from several different view angles while simultaneously using the mouse to adjust the “drag handles” on the model to resize extrusions, rounds, chamfers, fillets or other features being created.
  • Assembly Mode: Activate the “drag a packed component” function by pressing the speed key on the SpacePilot. Or add dimensions and annotations by mapping those functions to the device buttons. SpacePilot senses which work mode you are in and automatically brings up new commands to streamline your workflow.
  • Drawing Mode: Easily position the drawing view at the optimal location on the drawing area. Use the mouse to reposition the drawing view, and at the same time, move the entire drawing surface with the SpacePilot. Map functions like dimensions and special symbols to keys for rapid access in drawing mode.

Accelerate Preview Mode: Use the mouse to select, then pan, zoom and rotate the preview of the item with the SpacePilot. Accelerate all preview actions including File Open, Insert Component, Insert Fitting, Drawing Symbol Instance Palette, and Custom Drawing Symbol.
